Things to Keep in Mind

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is a very good laptop, however, it is not the latest model and it is not very ‘new’ or ‘cutting edge’
It’s a good stable laptop. If you’re looking for a premium laptop at a decent price ($1,500) it’s a good choice
The i5 8th generation processor is not the latest or very high end. It’s fine for an author who will mostly be using Microsoft Office and Browser based websites. It’s not necessarily a good choice if you want to play the latest games or run processor intensive applications
16 GB Memory is good and will cover most uses
256 GB Solid State Drive will be very fast. You might, however, run out of space in a few years
